In November 2018, Boogaart Almere started the construction of the 3,800 m² roof garden on top of the parking garage of the Asics Europe head office in Hoofddorp (NL). The intensive green roof is combined with a roof terrace.

The heart of the applied Nophadrain Intensive Green Roof System is the ND 820 Drainage System. The construction height of this drainage system (26.5 mm) and the compressive strength (500 kPa) make this product suitable for roofs with insufficient slope. It prevents water accumulation and freezing of the substrate and ensures greater drainage length. It is a 3-in-1 product that serves as a filter, drainage and protection layer .
