Because the project concerns a roof with limited fall, the ND 5+1 Drainage System was chosen for the part with intensive vegetation. Although the roof is not publicly accessible for vehicles, occasional access may occur (e.g. maintenance). Therefore, we advised to apply the ND 920hd Drainage System for the non-vegetated areas of the roof. This drainage system has an excellent performance under trafficable areas and is very suitable for roofs with limited slope. The ND 5+1 and the ND 920hd have the same construction height, preventing any height difference in the drainage layer.
On top of the ND 5+1 Drainage System lie the ND WSM-50 Water Reservoir Panels. They enable approx. 40 l/m² additional water buffering to the system.
