This high-quality plastic film protects a non-root-resistant waterproofing membrane from damage caused by root penetration from intensive vegetation. Tested for root resistancy.
Installation
The root-barrier is laid loose on top of the waterproofing membrane that is not root-resistant. The overlap should be at least 100 mm and has to be heat-welded with a heat gun. The heat gun should be adjusted to the optimum temperature for LDPE foils. In general, the recommendations of the manufacturers should be followed. We recommend a welding temperature of 265/280 degrees.
